West Sussex Literary Trail

The West Sussex Literary Trail was created in 2007 by a joint venture between Footprints of Sussex and Per-Rambulations.

The trail links Horsham, in the north-east corner of West Sussex, with the cathdral city of Chichester. Its 55 mile route takes in all the varying geologies of this most beautiful southern county and is a splendid five or six day linear walk.

                                              Amberley Village
The trail goes through Amberley Village

The full colour 110pp trail guide book was written by Keith McKenna and Peter Anderson and, as well as a wealth of literary characters, it has maps, route directions lots of photographs and some fascinating snippets about things you'll see along the way - such as the lady with the red beard !

Have a look at the trail website for some photos and extracts and a chance to buy a copy of the guidebook. Just click here.
