St. Mary's House, Bramber

St. Mary's House

St. Mary's House is a beautiful medieval building in the quiet village of Bramber, West Sussex. it's origins date back to the 15th century, although there is known to have been an earlier building here, used by the Knights Templar, built soon after the Norman conquest.
Today the house has been lovingly restored and is open to the public during the summer months. To appreciate its astonishing history and hear all the stories associated with it - Sherlock Holmes, Oscar Wilde et al - it is best, of course, to arrange a fully guided tour.
Keith & Sally are accredited guides and will be delighted to meet you at the house and show you around. There are minimum numbers and these tours need to be booked well in advance.
Robert Louis Stevenson

“For my part I travel not to go anywhere but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move”
